Desktop Guide

Because you were awarded a room in a Midwest FurFest Room Lottery, you will receive two emails: First, a lottery results notification email, followed by a confirmation email entitled "MFF Hotel Reservation Acknowledgement". You must secure your reservation with a credit card within 10 days of the confirmation email, or your reservation will be cancelled. Below you will find detailed instructions showing how to secure your reservation on a desktop browser. 

1.  In your confirmation email you’ll find a link that says "MANAGE THIS RESERVATION". That will lead you to the main Passkey page. 

A pop up box will appear and ask you to enter your Acknowledgement number.

It will then ask for your email address and whether you are a robot (don’t worry, protogens, you’re good!). Once confirmed, the “Manage reservation” button will change from grey to pink. Click on it to proceed.

2. Your Reservation Details are now displayed. Scroll down to the room description and click the "Edit" button.

3. A scary-looking window pops up asking if you want to modify your reservation. Click "Yes".

4. Scroll down to Payment Information. You'll see it states “Other Payment” or “Pending Credit Card Guarantee”. Let's fix that! Click the "Edit payment information" link.

5. Choose "Credit Card" as Payment Method

  1. Enter credit card information

  2. Ensure billing address is correct

  3. Click "Apply" at the top of the window

If Passkey is not allowing you to submit your credit card number, please verify that your phone number and zip code are correct under the billing address.  

6. Guests are welcome to add their hotel loyalty numbers and/or update roommate information

7. IMPORTANT! IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS YOUR RESERVATION WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED! Scroll to the top of the page and find the acknowledgement section on the right side of the page. Click the checkbox stating that you have read and accept the room policies (because of course you've read them, right?). Then click "Confirm Reservation"

8. Your reservation is complete. Passkey will email you a new confirmation, this time showing Payment Method as "Credit Card". Bask in the knowledge that your room is secure and that you're going to have a fantastic time at Midwest FurFest!
