The Marketplace

It is with great pleasure that we are able to bring back the Artists Marketplace for Midwest FurFest for 2023!



The Marketplace follows all of the same rules and policies with a few notable and exciting exceptions:

  • The Marketplace will feature assigned tables for the entirety of our Menagerie hours. These half tables will be fixed throughout the weekend, much like those featured in the Dealer's Den. This will allow our artists that want to produce, take commissions, and sell all weekend to come and go as they please during open hours and not be subject to the lottery.

  • Artists in the Marketplace will be allowed three additional items of pre-made merchandise, bringing the total to six. This guideline has a small degree of flexibility, but is ultimately to the judgment of the Alley Staff. The Marketplace is not a substitute for the Dealer's Den, and if an artist has any questions they should feel free to contact the Staff at artistsalley@furfest.org.

  • These Marketplace half tables will be pre-applied for starting later this year.. Once our registration period closes, we will run a lottery for the number of spaces we have available, identical to our traditional Alley. There is a fee of $85 USD per single half table (limited to one per artist) for the entire weekend, and invoices will be sent out once the lottery results have been announced. Artists will be notified regarding the deadline for submitting table fees.. Please be aware there will additionally be a standby list in the event those selected are unable to attend.
