Consent Forms

There are three distinct categorizations of minors for this event. Please read the following guide carefully to determine which situation fits you and/or your minor.

1. Your minor is of any age younger than 18 AND you or another adult will be attending the event with them.

No form is needed as you or another adult are accompanying your minor. Parents and legal guardians are requested to stay on property while their minor is at the convention. Younger attendees that need supervision should be with their accompanying adult at all times. As a courtesy, accompanying adults are offered complimentary badges so they may stay with their minor in convention space.

You and your minor need to appear at registration at the same time for your minor to get their badge. Minors will not be permitted to check into the convention if not in the presence of one or more adults registered on the same account in our registration system.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and we apologize for the extra work. These policies are in place to protect the convention, its staff and volunteers, the minor and the parents.

2. Your minor is 17 years old AND will be attending the convention without an accompanying adult present.

If your minor is 17 years old, they may attend without an accompanying adult. We require a completed and notarized Parental Permission Form. This form must be brought by your minor to Registration before they can complete their purchase or badge pick-up.

If your minor does not have this form when they arrive or if it's not completed and notarized, they cannot receive their badge. The form must be brought by the minor to registration, forms emailed in advance or during the event will not be accepted.

We will not accept permission from a parent or legal guardian granted over the phone or in an email under any circumstances. 

If your minor turns 18 during the convention, we'll be happy to provide them with a regular badge as a birthday gift, upon returning to Registration with a valid ID showing their birthday. They will receive a minor badge until then.
