Continuing the tradition of helping those who help animals in the Chicago area, Midwest FurFest is proud to announce its 2022 charity recipient, The Street Dog Coalition!

It’s a new year and a brand-new theme: FurFest: Heroes! Not only that, but we are excited to welcome our extremely talented Guests of Honor: Nao Romero, S0LARDOG, and AC Stuart.

It’s been a rough two years for everyone. After going virtual in 2020, we at Midwest FurFest approached the 2021 convention with a mixture of hope and trepidation. Our goal was to provide something of a respite for all of our friends and to continue to celebrate the furry fandom in FurFest’s own unique style but in a manner that was safe and responsible as well.

We know you were disappointed when we sold out of 2021 t-shirts for 2021, so we’ve partnered with ArtWorkTee to make them available again for a limited time!

For those attendees returning to countries which require a negative RT-PCR / NAAT COVID-19 test before flying home, Midwest FurFest is pleased to announce a partnership with Vitality Urgent Care for Midwest FurFest 2021.

What does the “normal world” think of furries? Indeed, that’s a loaded question. But more and more people are attaching a certain descriptive word to us... and that’s “generous.”
