As events are announced for this year's convention, they will be periodically listed.

Midwest Furfest Variety Show

What do we do?

The FVS is a non-competitive variety show. It's a bit of Vaudeville, and sort of like being on the Muppet Show. We all cooperate as a team, and we mix and match performers to acts as needed.

If you have a "ready to go" act, we'll give you a spot. If you want to be in the show but don't have an act, join us and we'll help you put something together, or add you to an existing act.

We strongly prefer to have all of our actors featured as puppets or fursuits, or at the very least have some furry content.

PawPet Idol

PawPet Idol returns for it's third year as Wildfox and JBadger look for the fandom's next great puppeteer. Do you have what it takes to perform behind the puppet stage? Then sign up one hour prior to the scheduled show and prove it as you will get a chance to perform infront of our panel of expert puppeteers and prove your worth.

Prizes will be awarded to those that win in their category. Those with experience are also encouraged to sign up and prove their worth infront of the judges as well!

Everybody is welcome to sign up for this event and we will have puppets and music to provide and pick from if you don't have your own to pick through!

For any questions, please write puppet.2008@furfest.org.
