2007 Guests of Honor
|
Jill0r
(Jill C.)
is an illustrator, cartoonist, painter, costumer and whatever
else checking in from central Florida. A recent Boston transplant,
she finished up a BFA in Illustration and Animation. Her
professors nipped at her heels, barking that she "choose
a style and stick with it," but unable to follow directions,
Jill is doing whatever she darn well pleases and is having
a good time with it.
|
 |
While
school taught her that animation isn't her bag, she loves
to doodle
up cute cartoon critters and sling paint around, gluing down
whatever she finds laying around nearby.
She grew up in Connecticut, and had a lot [a lot!] of pets, which
inspired her love for illustrating animals. Jill also has
a great time building and wearing critter costumes, chasing
after her pet cats and waggling her fingers. She's done several
professional freelance projects and is currently looking for
her "big break" while slaving for A Large Vacation
Resort in the Orlando area.

Will
Sanborn
works as a digital hardware designer, and builds pieces
of "computer chips" for a living. He's been involved
in the design, debug or support aspects on such products
as networking appliances, flash-based hard drives, and USB
cores for a variety of consumer products.
Will discovered anthropomorphics back in the golden age
of the internet. He's been active in the fandom, with writing
and conventions, since the early to mid-90s.
|
 |
He
discovered way back then, that engineers could indeed write
fiction, and has enjoyed exploring that playground of the
mind ever since. When he's not busy with work or indulging
his love of watching movies, he puts his energy into creative
projects, including writing and photography. Will's forte
is character-driven stories. He'd much rather write drama
or romance, than try and write a bio to describe his own
life.
Will
is a native of New England, and though the winters drag
on too long for him, he adores the magic of autumn there.
He also loves being within driving distance of both the
mountains and the ocean. The warm weather finds him hiking,
and he's working his way through the forty-eight 4000-foot-plus
peaks in the White Mountains. His other favorite summer
pastime is hitting amusement parks to ride roller coasters
with his extreme-ride-enthusiast friends.
